Petrol prices

I don’t want to get on here and just say that petrol prices are to high, I think we all know that! But on the BBC news page today was a articles saying that Exxon had made the biggest profit (9.9billion US) in one quater. What annoys me is that they oil companies are saying that it is not us who are making the fuel prices go up but the oil barrons, I can believe that but that data says otherwise! That makes me angry!

1. If money were no object, what would you be doing with your life?

That is a tough question, I like what I am doing but I think it would be cool to have a small country, maybe New Zealand.

2. Money is just that - an object, so why aren’t you doing it?

Why would you bother, imagine trying to understand them.

arr so hard

3. What’s better: horses or cows?

Cows make milk which now makes me sick, horse are fun you can scare them eg like hey sheep you can play “hey horse” with your horn, Cows they just look at you and that makes me angry!

4. What do you think the secret to happiness is?

Writing your story (I like jargin), but seriously doing that stuff that matters to you but not living in your own world but looking and seeing other people

5. When was the last time you had a dream that you either remember well or did not want to awake from? Can you share a bit?

I don’t and never had been able to remember my dreams! I can wake up and knew I had a great dream but can not remember anything about it, but I usally feel annoyed because I was enjoying it. So times I dream in the car but then usally my house mate shouts at me when I am about to head down a cliff.

6. When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A garbage man

7. Complete this statement: Love is……

over-rated

8. Can you tell a good story?

No

9. Can you remember your last daydream? What was it about?

I dreamed today that I had a James Bond car and killed all the people in my way.

10. If you were to thank someone today, who would you thank?

I would thank Jackson Pollick for his very interesting art

A busy day out!

Well at 7:45 I got up, got to Kris house at 8:00 (to leave at 8:05), we left at 9am.

We had our first stop about 30minutes outside Hobart, on the outskirts of Bagdad! I got a choclate bar, which I am just about to start eating, a pepsi mmm I like pepsi. (I also had a pee)

1firststop-01.jpg

We then drove into Hobart, man I like city driving, man Hobart people don’t like Sydney drivers, I only cut of 25 people! Na it was good. We then parked next to Parliment house and then went Salamanca markets, we walked around, I got a ring then I found a fun shop! They didn’t have anything for Pixies though :(.

2farieshop-01.jpg

Nice framing shot of the markets
3marketssal1-01.jpg

We walked around for a while, then Kris went to put more money in the parking money eater thing. We saw a crowd of people, and it was a friend of Biz called “Samora”. What he was doing was getting his whole body through a tennis racquete. He had to dislocate both his shoulder to do that! It was gross but it was funny and I think he did a good job mananging the crowd.

4samtennis-01.jpg

5samtennis2-01.jpg

The next thing he decided to do..was to eat a knife..and of course why wouldn’t you…

6samknife1-01.jpg

7samknife2-01.jpg

A nice shot of Kris & Biz looking down at Salamanca

8bizkrisalmarkets-01.jpg

We then went to a Parking place, it was 10 stories high, which is nothing new for me, as a Sydney driver, but like 5 of the levels where reserved, so for a park car that was empty but I had to go level 9 to get a park, but we took some nice photos of Hobart.

9hobart1-01.jpg

This is a nice photo of me! yay for big river thing!
10hobartjoshy-01.jpg

Another new part I never knew was the ‘Hobart’ slums!
11hobart

14hobartslums2-01.jpg

Then Biz & I went to KFC, while Kris got Kebab, But guess what…its Colonels birthday, so I walked in and there was streamers, and a nice lady gave me a lolly pop, I don’t like lolly pops so it will stay in my car for a while I think but thats ok, then standing in line we got some choclate cake, then the manager gave me a party hat.

12bdaykfc1-01.jpg

Then it happened, the “Super-Chicken” appeared! My day is complete!
13kfcchicken-01.jpg

Its amazing what you seen in Tasmanian shops
15krisbong-01.jpg

I like childrens play equipment
16krisbizplayground-01.jpg

So anyway we shops, at the Mac shop, myers, got a coffee at Gloria Jeans, and some other fun stores, looked around and walked, saw some famous lady with lots of security people signing things. Anyway it was good! Lots of funny moments, and laughs!

On the way home we went to Ross,
There was some old bridge that was cool, but first we looked at some old staples.

Biz & I re-enactment the Nativity scene!
17nativityscene-01.jpg

Then Kris was a horse in the staple
18krishorse-01.jpg

The other cool thing was a Bureau of Meteorology flood warning thing, it had high security!
20bom-01.jpg

Then a nice church
19church-01.jpg

Now finally a cool old bridge
21bridge-01.jpg

Kris was having fun why we got some money & food.

23cambelstop-01.jpg

22kriscamera-01.jpg

While we were getting money, I got a fried Mars Bar it was gross but intruiging
24friedmarsbar-01.jpg

Then we contiuned the journey home, played “Hi Sheep”, then had dinners at Kris mums house..mmm nice dinner!

Then Radio doing the CMS show with Kris & Biz, very fun, (I also just got the choclate bar out of my bar, and bout to open it.)

I am now going to prepare for a talk tommorrow and let Biz blog!

Photos are only here for a limited time (1 week only, then will go to a photo gallery on the http://thejoshy.com)

A special Verse

Just a little verse I found this morning!

Ps 40:2-3 (NIV)
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire,
He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth a hymn of praise to our God
Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD
