Well just a heads up people that some big things are about to change, there won’t be much notice and not gonna discuss it until after it all happens. (Yes I am vague but please respect that) but its time I made some decisions for me and my mental health & growth, things are looking exiting, very scary but feels right.

because I am never gonna have my own children; this won’t be a problem.

Well as most people know last year my grandmother almost died last, whilst her partner was down (they had been separated for a number of years) my mother observed how his appearance had changed, looking very gaunt. When my grandfather returned home to QLD mum encouraged him to go to a doctor, after a number of tests it was found that he had developed lung & bone cancer it was said that it would be lucky for him to make it till Christmas. Amazingly he did, I think my parents enjoyed spending Christmas with him.

Anyway he has been getting worse and it looks like that the coming week or so will be his last. All of the family are going down spending as much time with him, he now is in Berry Hospital receiving Palliative care. I am going down with my sister on Thursday and possibly could be our last visit. This isn’t unexpected but still is hard when it continues to unravel as reality.

To make things worse I received a phone message this afternoon letting us know that an uncle (uncle but not in blood) has a heart valve problem which appears to late to repair. He is in QLD hospital in bad shape.

I seem to cope with these things with no problem; I am not sure if its a good thing or me just used to been around crisis but the family is finding it hard, it has been a huge year for the whole family and it just seems to keep getting worse.

It appears in the last week alot of my relationships are just having falling outs, its not like anybody has said anything to me but you can feel when friends are angry at you. Its more than a few; which brings me to the question. What have I done? Due to the number of friendships its lots of people so its gotta be me. Its just hard to know what I have done especially when nobody tells me, makes it hard to change but oh well we live and learn.

The other thing about friendship is when things are tough, it really shows who your friends are and I am learning some interesting lessons.

Well after having a great time at the monkey bar in chatswood for anthony’s birthday, after walking elsbath mostly the way home. I was walking up my drive way, there was my forester parked there, the blue imprezza and the mx5. The imprezza’s internal light was on and somebody leaning inside, thinking it was my dad day and a little under the weather I said “hi dad”, and then a guy in his 20’s said oh sorry and walked down my driveway. Yep for the 2nd time in as many months my car was robbed, goodbye Ipod, somehow the last driver (which wasn’t me) hadn’t locked the both the subaru’s least there wasn’t any damage this time but far out I have the shits. Please leave my car alone!

Its the new year which means its time for new credit and eftpos cards.

I am off now for a interview in the city and what a effort this is but hopefully this will end in some work, so will let you know how that goes. On the other front tomorrow is my 1-year anniversary of me finishing up any kind of work with my Fusion!

Well first off I hate motorsport, I have never been one to like the Bathurst 1000 or motobikes around Phillip island expect for the Dakar rally, partly from Charley Boorman doing the race after completing Long Way Round but also for the amazing adventure and I have a respect for the race and all the compete. I was rather exited about the coverage that was about to start this morning for the huge race through south Europe into northern Africa to finish in Dakar in the end of January. Sadly this year; the first time in the race’s 30 year history they have canceled the race for security reasons. It just appears another victim in this ‘war on terror’.
