Well haven’t I been a naughty boy over the past two months, for that sorry but lets move on.

Just a little update

Uni
I have started my uni course this year, overall its ok. Still very scared about how to enage and do the course material with the distance but more how to do the study at the level they are requiring without the understanding of doing a undergrad so its scary and this week is gonna require alot of work and moving past alot of the underlying shit that I do wanna do. It was fun to visit melbourne for the 2 days of classes catching trams and doing the whole uni thing but I was also very happy when it ended, it was just a bit to big for my little simple mind.

Mardi Gras
What a amazing experience marching have so many people happy and celbrating. People where all so happy. More than the experience of marching was for me the ending of a journey of me coming out and also accepting my faith with me been gay. There was just this overwhelming feeling of acceptance and okness for been gay & publicly christian.

Work
As most people are aware that I haven’t been doing alot of work, I have secured employment now working in the inner city for missionbeat with mission australia. The job is ok, not as great paying as I would like but for the moment I enjoy the work and the experience and thats good enough for me. Its gonna be a change of lifestyle as all this work is and the travel to marrickville is gonna be a drag but good enough for me.

Car
Well as most people are aware my subaru forester was crashed whilst in tassy late last year and my lazy & broke self hasn’t got the thing fixed but last week it went in for repairs and what a great feeling that was. Driving a nice camry around whilst my baby is repaired and I am so looking forward to picking her up!

Chaser
Last week Jimmy & adventure sam went ultimo to see the chaser put there new skits to a new audience for the first time and gosh it was funny. I think it will be funnier when they have microphones that don’t sound like they are been broadcast from underwater on the back of a speeding submarine. I think there will be some stuff you wont see in the show but oh gosh it was funny. So good times and thank you RSS feeds.

Everything else
Most things in life are good, having the normal ups & downs you get. Problems with friends makes me sad but again its part of life. Issues with men always provides entertainment, money isn’t great with such a number of different priorities so its gonna be another 3 months of living poor to get rid of some of my debt and start to get on my feet.

Right now
I am about to pack up my things for the weekend over in the innercity as most weekends. For mel’s daughters birthday party (kids party) then off to Al & Mickey’s engagement party with Bec in penrith. The plan is return to Mel’s party (adult) for a long night of drinking sorrows away. Sunday to sleep it off then off to work at 3pm yay for little traffic in the city.

It appears in the last week alot of my relationships are just having falling outs, its not like anybody has said anything to me but you can feel when friends are angry at you. Its more than a few; which brings me to the question. What have I done? Due to the number of friendships its lots of people so its gotta be me. Its just hard to know what I have done especially when nobody tells me, makes it hard to change but oh well we live and learn.

The other thing about friendship is when things are tough, it really shows who your friends are and I am learning some interesting lessons.

I got to talk to Sam on msn today! I can even call him over the next 3 days…

I miss sam too.

Well its nice to be here, missing sydney but not to bad only another 7 days. Just like howie & Jenny this is one of my shortest visits to Poatina totaling a massive 8 days compared to my normal 3 or 4 week stay. I also have the feeling that im gonna have less and less of these visits and im ok with that.

Been nice to run into old friends people like Kent & Katrina very happy to see them.

As I said before heading into the Imax to watch the footboot/soccer, and not sure if I want to drive or public transport it. Called up Secure parking, they close at 12 but still wanted to know if this guy had any ideas. This guy volunteered to go out onto the street walk up to the parking meters and find what time I can park on the street, must have been gone 6 or 7 minutes, his name was Ken, its nice when people are friendly and go out of your way 4 you. I like that. You go Ken!

Monday night, most of the people that live in my house went out for dinner to say goodbye to Katrina as she left the house today very sad.

Yes..well not now but friday 22nd April flying home the 24th April! Not to long but its better than nothing.

Yayaya!

Yes it is Christmas time, the mall huge Christmas tree is up, it went up late last week but I have been to lazy to resize the picture until tonight so there you go. I do enjoy Christmas, getting into the festive mood and yes as Howie & Jenny know I love decorations, and lots of them!

It is my meaning in life make sure that they are every where there are decorations. When you open a draw there is at least something Christmassy in it.

Howie & Jenny love it especially the bit where I put staples in a wall using a staple gun, then make sure they damage as much as possible, today at work we found more staples I think we will be finding my staples to the building is removed

This afternoon my belt died not the best thing while at work is it, so to keep my pants up I used a 25metre rope to do so, and for the rest of the afternoon this rope followed behind me, much to Steve & Robs amusement especially when the tied into onto a door handle, or just step on it! Not funny, I then found a piece of string, so come to Commy pub to see my new belt.

Since posting a picture of Howie been snapped by stats have gone up about 100% over the last 2 days, but in reflection anytime I say anything about Howie my stats go up, so with my quote of the day I am going to aim to say Howie once and once a week that’s Howie.

Yesterday we made candles for craft, and we burned a few of the wicks, on which I used the work lighter and then placed the lighter in my pocket.

Once leaving I then headed to Commy pub and unloaded my pockets with all my stuff and found this lighter, Howie then arrived and I decided to see what happens if I burn Howie’s hair.

I have found from experience that hair usually singes but something different happened it started to burn, yes not singe but burn a little flame started and burn away 2cm of a clump of hair. This sent Jenny & me into hysterics, we proceed to do it again

I was just thinking am I a “friend?” Something to reflect to… I do like the third one… “A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.” I think this is great if we as friends so stand and be comrade with our friends. I hope that I am a Comrade and not take the high road.

I enjoy traving around with friends. Even just those times sitting on a train and you look across at your friend and just laugh…for no reason but to have company
