Well haven’t I been a naughty boy over the past two months, for that sorry but lets move on.

Just a little update

Uni
I have started my uni course this year, overall its ok. Still very scared about how to enage and do the course material with the distance but more how to do the study at the level they are requiring without the understanding of doing a undergrad so its scary and this week is gonna require alot of work and moving past alot of the underlying shit that I do wanna do. It was fun to visit melbourne for the 2 days of classes catching trams and doing the whole uni thing but I was also very happy when it ended, it was just a bit to big for my little simple mind.

Mardi Gras
What a amazing experience marching have so many people happy and celbrating. People where all so happy. More than the experience of marching was for me the ending of a journey of me coming out and also accepting my faith with me been gay. There was just this overwhelming feeling of acceptance and okness for been gay & publicly christian.

Work
As most people are aware that I haven’t been doing alot of work, I have secured employment now working in the inner city for missionbeat with mission australia. The job is ok, not as great paying as I would like but for the moment I enjoy the work and the experience and thats good enough for me. Its gonna be a change of lifestyle as all this work is and the travel to marrickville is gonna be a drag but good enough for me.

Car
Well as most people are aware my subaru forester was crashed whilst in tassy late last year and my lazy & broke self hasn’t got the thing fixed but last week it went in for repairs and what a great feeling that was. Driving a nice camry around whilst my baby is repaired and I am so looking forward to picking her up!

Chaser
Last week Jimmy & adventure sam went ultimo to see the chaser put there new skits to a new audience for the first time and gosh it was funny. I think it will be funnier when they have microphones that don’t sound like they are been broadcast from underwater on the back of a speeding submarine. I think there will be some stuff you wont see in the show but oh gosh it was funny. So good times and thank you RSS feeds.

Everything else
Most things in life are good, having the normal ups & downs you get. Problems with friends makes me sad but again its part of life. Issues with men always provides entertainment, money isn’t great with such a number of different priorities so its gonna be another 3 months of living poor to get rid of some of my debt and start to get on my feet.

Right now
I am about to pack up my things for the weekend over in the innercity as most weekends. For mel’s daughters birthday party (kids party) then off to Al & Mickey’s engagement party with Bec in penrith. The plan is return to Mel’s party (adult) for a long night of drinking sorrows away. Sunday to sleep it off then off to work at 3pm yay for little traffic in the city.

Oh wait do I need a boat?

When I used to live in Tasmania I lived with a Ben, he stayed in Tasmania when I moved back to NSW. Ben has just moved back to Melbourne & decided that he wanted to visit. The problem with Ben is that he is weird and instead of doing the 1.5hr flight he went for the 12hr train trip there & back and only spend 11hrs with me.

How that figures?

Anyway we had breakfast at Blu Water, a milkshake at pie in the sky, a walk around Brooklyn and then ventured up to the blue mountains via Dave’s place. Ben has never seen it so it was nice to show him around. We tried to have lunch in Leura & everything was expensive and not to our taste so we settled for McDonald’s…

Well last night Dave & I headed into the city opera house to see Wil Anderson perferming his latest show ‘Wil of God’.

It was very funny, wasn’t stand up comedy but a very funny routine. Dave & I really enjoyed it & highly recommend it. I did also get him to sign my copy of The Best of the Glass house dvd so that made me very happy. I have never been in side the opera house so it was cool & when I was walking around past the toaster I couldn’t stop me singing crowded house; imagining the crowded house farewell to the end of the world concert. Good times aye

Well over the last few months I have been getting new things. Eg a new car & a new mac. So with my contract ending its time for a new phone. So arriving monday or tuesday is my new Dopod 838 Pro. Yay

Well today was a busy & long day. Had Jono & Sarah’s wedding out in the sticks somewhere out of Penrith. Thanks to ‘Mio Mike’ the gps for getting me there safely. Also a public shaming on McDonald’s M4 East bound for no coffee for car peeps & not doing coffee from the cafe. Anyway back to the wedding.

I arrive there at about 8:30, the wedding started at 10ish. I filmed the wedding & was nice. Didn’t finish until 6pm. The wedding was relaxed, the food was excellent and the company was good & fun; got to see some friends from the Anderson & DeBeer family, and Jen from my C4 class in Tasmania. Also gave 3 young ladies a lift in my car, later finding out that 2 of them are one of my good friends (Ian Chanc) daughters, imagine the odds; I should have gone to the pokies. Anyway its 9:45 and im thinking about sleeping clear I am getting old.

Last night I met all my work mates up at the Asquith Leagues club for a few drinks because Lesley (my senior) was leaving very sad. It was fun, got my money back on the pockies (thanks to Zorro) now Im off to work with a few pain killers & a craving for Orange Juice. Did my first aid the last 2 days, thank god I don’t have to do that for another 3 years! See ya tomorrow Avo after work.

Well after finally watched the movie cars! I enjoyed it & wasn’t what i expected thats for sure but was a heart felt movie about friends & team work. Its nice to have the whole set of cars from shell service station & know what there about yay.
