Well first off I hate motorsport, I have never been one to like the Bathurst 1000 or motobikes around Phillip island expect for the Dakar rally, partly from Charley Boorman doing the race after completing Long Way Round but also for the amazing adventure and I have a respect for the race and all the compete. I was rather exited about the coverage that was about to start this morning for the huge race through south Europe into northern Africa to finish in Dakar in the end of January. Sadly this year; the first time in the race’s 30 year history they have canceled the race for security reasons. It just appears another victim in this ‘war on terror’.

Its the NRL final tonight. As a sydney boy I should go for Manly, and somebody who hates victoria even more so. But wounds take a long time to heal. The wounds of super league still hurt. Go Melbourne Storm & bring the bears back.

It might be a good game of cricket on our hands this test, not just a slaughter.
